Aberdeen City Council has made the above-named order in terms of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984
The effect of the order, which will operate from 04:00 08 October, 2021 until 17:00 18 October, 2021, is to impose a prohibition of driving on Commerce Street, Aberdeen, between Virginia Street and Regent Quay. There will also be a prohibition of waiting on either side of the same stretch of carriageway for any purpose for the duration of the works. There will also be a suspension of the one-way system on Regent Quay between Marischal Street and Weigh-House Square. There will also be a prohibition of waiting on Regent Quay between Waterloo Quay and Virginia Street. The restrictions are in the interests of public safety during ACC carriageway resurfacing works.
Alternative Route: Castle Terrace, Miller Street, St Clement Street, Wellington Street, Waterloo Quay and vice versa
