Aberdeen City Council has made the above-named order in terms of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984
The effect of the order, which will operate from 04:00 on 27 September, 2021 until 17:00 on 10 October, 2021, is to impose a prohibition of driving on Cranford Road, Aberdeen, from Broomhill Road to Great Western Road (A93). There will also be a prohibition of waiting on either side of the same stretch of carriageway between 08:00 - 17:00, Monday to Friday for the duration of the works. Access will be maintained to chip shop, sports centre and care home when possible. Illegally parked vehicles will be removed at the owners expense. The no-waiting restrictions will be demarcated by the use of no-waiting cones. The restrictions are in the interests of public safety during ACC carriageway resurfacing works.
