Aberdeen City Council has made the above-named order in terms of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984

The effect of the order is to impose a temporary prohibition of driving on the following streets:

Buckie Road, Aberdeen from its junction with Valentine Road to the boundary between number 77 and 79 Buckie Road from 08:00 on 13th September, 2021, until 17:00 on 14th September, 2021. An alternative route is available via Valentine Road and Whitestripes Avenue; Buckie Wynd, Aberdeen, from its junction with Valentine Road to the boundary between number 1 and 3 Buckie Wynd from 08:00 on 15th September, 2021, until 17:00 on 16th September, 2021. An alternative route is available via Valentine Road, Buckie Crescent and Buckie Avenue; Buckie Road, Aberdeen from the boundary between number 54 and 56 Buckie Road to the road between number 58 and 64 Buckie Road from 08:00 on 17th September, 2021, until 17:00 on 18th September, 2021. An alternative route is available via Valentine Road and Whitestripes Avenue; Slains Circle, Aberdeen, from its junction with Slains Place and to the gable end of number 7 Slains Circle from 08:00 on 21st September, 2021, until 17:00 on 22nd September, 2021. An alternative route is available via Jesmond Avenue; Slains Circle, Aberdeen, from its junction with Slains Place to the boundary between number 17 and 19 Slains Circle from 08:00 on 24th September, 2021, until 17:00 on 25th September, 2021. An alternative route is available via Jesmond Avenue; Slains Circle, Aberdeen, from the boundary between number 19 and 21 Slains Circle to the boundary between number 52 and 54 Slains Circle from 08:00 on 29th September, 2021, until 17:00 on 30th September, 2021. An alternative route is available via Jesmond Avenue; Slains Circle, Aberdeen, between its junctions with Slains Road and Slains Terrace from 08:00 on 1st October, 2021, until 17:00 on 2nd October, 2021. An alternative route is available via Jesmond Avenue; Slains Avenue, Aberdeen, from the path between number

1 and 23 Slains Avenue to the gable end of number 35 Slains Avenue from 08:00 on 4th October, 2021, until 17:00 on 5th October, 2021. An alternative route is available via Jesmond Avenue; Valentine Drive, Aberdeen, from its junction with Valentine Crescent to the boundary between number 86 and 88 Valentine Drive from 08:00 on 6th October, 2021, until 17:00 on 7th October, 2021. An alternative route is available via Valentine Road; Valentine Drive, Aberdeen, from its junction to numbers 33-45 Valentine Drive to the boundary between number 47 and 49 Valentine Drive from 08:00 on 8th October, 2021, until 17:00 on 9th October, 2021. An alternative route is available via Valentine Road.

Access to properties will be maintained, but no through traffic will be possible

There will also be a prohibition of waiting on either side on the following streets between 08:00 and 17:00 Mon-Sat; Buckie Road, Buckie Wynd, Jesmond Avenue, Jesmond Square, Slains Avenue, Slains Circle, Slains Place, Slains Road, Slains Street, Slains Terrace, Valentine Drive, Valentine Road, Aberdeen from 08:00 on 13th September, 2021, until 17:00 on 24th October, 2021.

Illegally parked vehicles will be removed at the owners expense.

The no-waiting restrictions will not be implemented for the full duration of the order and will only be implemented as and when required. The no-waiting restrictions will be demarcated by the use of no-waiting cones for no more than 100 metres at a time. The measures are necessary to protect public safety during duct laying works being carried out by City Fibre.
