Aberdeen City Council has made the above-named order in terms of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984

Aberdeen City Council has made the above-named order in terms of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

The effect of the order is to impose a temporary prohibition of driving on Corthan Crescent, Aberdeen, from gable of numbers 49-51 Corthan Crescent to its junction with the cul-de-sac at numbers 53-75 Corthan Crescent from 09:30 until 15:30 on Monday, 2 August 2021. There will also be a prohibition of waiting on the same stretch of road. There will also be a temporary prohibition of driving on Corthan Crescent, Aberdeen, from its junction with the cul-de-sac at numbers 53-75 Corthan Crescent to the entrance to Kincorth Sports Centre from 08:00 on Tuesday 3 August 2021, until 20:00 on Wednesday 4 August 2021, Access to properties will be maintained, but no through traffic will be possible. An alternative route is available via Provost Watt Drive, Cairngorm Crescent, Valley Gardens, and Corthan Drive. The measures are necessary to protect public safety during works for Scottish Water and City Fibre.
