Aberdeen City Council has made the above-named order in terms of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984
The effect of the order, which will operate from 07:00 on 13 August, 2021 until 18:00 on 6 September, 2021, is to impose a temporary prohibition of waiting on either side of Sinclair Road, Aberdeen, between its junctions with Baxter Street and Crombie Place. This will be limited to 150 metres at a time to accommodate temporary traffic signals. The no-waiting restrictions will be demarcated by the use of no-waiting cones. Illegally parked vehicles will be removed at the owners expense.
The restrictions are in the interests of public safety during water main installation works by Nicol of Skene for the Aberdeen Harbour project. There will be temporary traffic signals in operation during this time.
