Aberdeen City Council has made the above-named order in terms of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984
The effect of the order is to impose a temporary prohibition of driving on the following streets:
Grandholm Crescent, Aberdeen, from its junction with Grandholm Avenue to the boundary between number 67 and 69 Grandholm Crescent from 08:00 on 9th June, 2021, until 17:00 on 10th June, 2021. An alternative route is available via Grandholm Drive; Grandholm Crescent, Aberdeen, from its junction with Grandholm Gardens to the boundary between number 89 and 91 Grandholm Crescent from 08:00 on 15th June, 2021, until 17:00 on 16th June, 2021. An alternative route is available via Grandholm Drive; Grandholm Drive, Aberdeen, from the junction at the mini roundabout with Buckie Brae to the gable end of number 115 Grandholm Drive from 08:00 on 17th June, 2021, until 17:00 on 18th June, 2021. An alternative route is available via Grandholm Crescent; Grandholm Crescent, Aberdeen, between its western junction with Grandholm Drive and Grandholm Way from 08:00 on 24th June, 2021, until 17:00 on 25th June, 2021. An alternative route is available via eastern junction with Grandholm Drive.
Access to properties will be maintained, but no through traffic will be possible.
There will also be a prohibition of waiting on either side on the following streets between 08:00 and 17:00 Mon-Sat; Gordon Brae, Grandholm Avenue, Grandholm Cottages, Grandholm Crescent, Grandholm Drive, Grandholm Gardens, Grandholm Grove, Grandholm Way, Aberdeen from 08:00 on 7th June, 2021, until 17:00 on 18th July, 2021.
Due to any ongoing Covid-19 restrictions, the no-waiting restrictions will not be implemented for the full duration of the order and will only be implemented as and when required.
