Aberdeen City Council has made the above-named order in terms of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984
The effect of the order is to impose a temporary prohibition of driving on the following streets:
Gort Road, Aberdeen, between its junction with Gordons Mills Road and the gable end of
number 59 Gort Road from 08:00 on 16th March, 2021, until 17:00 on 17th March, 2021. An
alternative route is available via Gordons Mills Road and Hayton Road; Gort Road, Aberdeen,
between its junction with Montgomery Road and the gable end of number 25 Gort Road from
08:00 on 23
rd March, 2021, until 17:00 on 24
th March, 2021. An alternative route is available via
Gordons Mills Road, Gordons Mills Crescent and Auchinleck Road; Auchinleck Road,
Aberdeen, between its junction with Auchinleck Crescent and the boundary between number 60
and 62 Auchinleck Road from 08:00 on 30th March, 2021, until 17:00 on 31st March, 2021. An
alternative route is available via Gordons Mills Crescent, Gordons Mills Road and Gort Road;
Meadow Lane, Aberdeen, between its junction with Gordons Mills Road and the southern
gable end of number 7 Meadow Lane. An alternative route is available via Gordons Mills Road
and Papermill Drive and also the one-way restriction on Meadow Lane, Aberdeen will be
suspended from 08:00 on 1
st April, 2021, until 17:00 on 2
nd April, 2021
Access to properties will be maintained, but no through traffic will be possible.
There will also be a temporary prohibition of traverse on the footpath between numbers 1-23
Meadow Lane, Aberdeen from 08:00 on 7
th April, 2021, until 17:00 on 16th April, 2021. An
alternative route is available via Gordons Mills Road and Meadow Place
There will also be a prohibition of waiting on either side on the following streets between 08:00
and 17:00 Mon-Sat; Auchinleck Road, Gordons Mills Place, Gordons Mills Road, Gort Road,
Gort Terrace, Meadow Place, Montgomery Road, Papermill Drive, Aberdeen from 08:00 on 11th
March, 2021, until 17:00 on 21st April, 2021.
Due to any ongoing Covid-19 restrictions, the no-waiting restrictions will not be implemented for
the full duration of the order and will only be implemented as and when required.
The no-waiting restrictions will be demarcated by the use of no-waiting cones for no more than
