Aberdeen City Council has made the above-named order in terms of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984
The effect of the order is to impose a temporary prohibition of driving on West Mount Street, Aberdeen, at its junction with Mount Street, from 08:00 on Tuesday, 16 February 2021, until 20:00 on Wednesday, 17 February 2021. An alternative route is available via View Terrace and Rosemount Place. There will be a prohibition of right turns from Westburn Road, Aberdeen, on to Watson Street, from 08:00 on Thursday, 4 March 2021, until 20:00 on Friday, 5 March 2021. An alternative route is available via Mount Street, South Mount Street, Leadside Road, Whitehall Place, Craigie Loanings, Wallfield Crescent, and Rosemount Place. There will be a prohibition of driving on the Westburn Park access road, Aberdeen, at its junction with Westburn Road, from 08:00 on Saturday, 6 March 2021, until 20:00 on Sunday, 7 March 2021. An alternative route is available via Westburn Road and Cornhill Road. There will be prohibition of waiting on Mount Street, Aberdeen, between its junctions with Westburn Road and Rosemount Place, from 08:00 on Tuesday, 16 February 2021, until 20:00 on Sunday, 7 March 2021. The no-waiting restrictions will only be implemented as and when required and will be demarcated by the use of no-waiting cones for no more than 100m at any time.
