Aberdeen City Council has made the above-named order in terms of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984
The effect of the order is to impose a temporary prohibition of driving on the following streets: Donbank Terrace, Aberdeen, between its junction with Hayton Road and the boundary between number 8 and 10 Donbank Terrace from 08:00 on 12th January, 2021, until 17:00 on 13th January, 2021. An alternative route is available via Don Street and Donview Place; Don Street, Woodside, Aberdeen, between the gable end of number 78 Don Street and the boundary between number 82 and 84 Don Street from 08:00 on 14th January, 2021, until 17:00 on 15th January, 2021. An alternative route is available via Donbank Terrace and Donview Place; Gordons Mills Crescent, Aberdeen, between its southern junction with Wavell Crescent and the boundary between numbers 9-23 and 25-39 Gordons Mills Crescent from 08:00 on 15th January, 2021, until 17:00 on 16th January, 2021. An alternative route is available via Montgomery Road, Donbank Place and Gordons Mills Road; Donview Place, Aberdeen, between its junctions with Don Street and Donbank Terrace from 08:00 on 18th January, 2021, until 17:00 on 19th January, 2021. An alternative route is available via Don Street and Donbank Terrace; Don Terrace, Aberdeen, between its junction with Don Gardens and the gable end of number 20 Don Terrace from 08:00 on 20th January, 2021, until 17:00 on 22nd January, 2021. An alternative route is available via Station Road, Great Northern Road and Don Street; Don Terrace, Aberdeen, between its junctions with Don Gardens and Don Street from 08:00 on 25th January, 2021, until 17:00 on 28th January, 2021. An alternative route is available via Station Road, Great Northern Road and Don Street; Alexander Drive, Aberdeen, between its junction with Montgomery Road and the footpath between number 16 Montgomery Road and number 2 Alexander Drive from 08:00 on 27th January, 2021, until 17:00 on 28th January, 2021. An alternative route is available via Montgomery Road, Donbank Place, Hayton Road and Dill Road; Donbank Terrace, Aberdeen, between the boundary between number 68 and 70 Donbank Terrace to the boundary between number 76 and 78 Donbank Terrace. An alternative route is available via Donview Place, Don Street and Gordons Mills Road and also the one-way restriction on Donbank Terrace, Aberdeen, between its junctions with Donview Place and Gordons Mills Road will be suspended from 08:00 on 1st February, 2021, until 17:00 on 2nd February, 2021; Montgomery Road, Aberdeen, between its junction with Donbank Place and the boundary between number 6 and 8 Montgomery Road from 08:00 on 3rd February, 2021, until 17:00 on 4th February, 2021. An alternative route is available via Donbank Place, Hayton Road, Dill Road and Alexander Drive; Donview Place, Aberdeen, between its junctions with Donbank Terrace and Donbank Place from 08:00 on 8th February, 2021, until 17:00 on 9th February, 2021. An alternative route is available via Donbank Terrace, Hayton Road and Donbank Place; Donbank Terrace, Aberdeen, between its junction with Donview Place and the boundary between number 31 and 33 Donbank Terrace from 08:00 on 10th February, 2021, until 17:00 on 11th February, 2021. An alternative route is available via Donview Place and Don Street. Access to properties will be maintained, but no through traffic will be possible. There will also be a prohibition of waiting on either side on the following streets between 08:00 and 17:00 Mon-Sat; Alexander Drive, Don Gardens, Don Street, Don Terrace, Donbank Terrace, Donview Place, Donview Road, Gordons Mills Crescent, Hayton Road, Montgomery Road, Wavell Crescent, Aberdeen from 08:00 on 11th January, 2021, until 17:00 on 21st February, 2021.Due to any ongoing Covid-19 restrictions, the no-waiting restrictions will not be implemented for the full duration of the order and will only be implemented as and when required. The no-waiting restrictions will be demarcated by the use of no-waiting cones for no more than 50 metres at a time.
