Aberdeen City Council has made the above-named order in terms of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984
The effect of the order, which will operate from 19:00 on 8 January, 2021, until 06:00 on 13 January, 2021, is to suspend parking on south east side of Belmont Road, Aberdeen, between its junctions with Powis Terrace and Berryden Road. The no-waiting restrictions will be demarcated by the use of no-waiting cones. Illegally parked vehicles will be removed at the owners expense. During this time, there will be a right turn ban from Ashgrove Road, Aberdeen, on to Powis Terrace, and from Powis Terrace, Aberdeen, on to Ashgrove Road. There will also be a one-way restriction on Belmont Road, Aberdeen, between its junctions with Powis Terrace and Berryden Road, from 19:00 on 8 January 2021 until 18:00 on 13 January 2021. The direction of flow will be south-westbound only. From 07:00 on 11 January 2021, until 06:00 on 13 January 2021, Leslie Terrace, Aberdeen, will be closed, between its junctions with Powis Terrace and a point 30m or thereby south of this junction. During this order there will be a lane closure, on Powis Terrace, Aberdeen, northbound, between its junctions with Bedford Road and Ashgrove Road.
The restrictions are in the interests of public safety during construction works by Cplan for SSET.
Alternative Route: Leslie Terrace alternative route is available via Powis Terrace, Calsayseat Road and Leslie Terrace.
Belmont Road alternative route via Berryden Road and Ashgrove Road.
