Aberdeen City Council has made the above-named order in terms of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984
The effect of the order is to impose a prohibition of waiting on either side of Westburn Road, Aberdeen, between its junctions with Roseberry Street and Raeden Avenue from 08:00 on 12 October 2020, until 18:00 on 27 November 2020. The no-waiting restrictions will only be implemented as and when required, and will be demarcated by the use of no-waiting cones. Illegally parked vehicles will be removed at the owners expense. Also, there will be a temporary one-way restriction on Roseberry Street, Aberdeen, between its junction with Westburn Road and a point 10m in a southerly direction from 08:00 on 12 October 2020, until 18:00 on 15 October 2020. The permitted direction of travel will be southbound only. From 08:00 on 19 October 2020, until 18:00 on 21 October 2020 Camperdown Road, Aberdeen, will be closed at its junction with Westburn Road, and from 08:00 on 26 October 2020, until 18:00 on 28 October 2020 Harcourt Road will be closed at its junction with Westburn Road. The measures are necessary to protect public safety during street lighting replacement works.
