Aberdeen City Council has made the above-named order in terms of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984
The effect of the order, which will operate on 28 July 2020 from 07:30 - 17:30, is to impose a prohibition of driving on George St from St Andrew Street to Spring Garden, St Andrew Street from Charlotte Street to Loch Street and Loch Street from Candlemakers Lane to Berry Street. There is also a prohibition of waiting between 017:30 and 17:30. The restrictions are necessary to protect public safety during Spaces for People works.
