Aberdeen City Council has made the above-named order in terms of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984
The effect of the order is to impose a temporary prohibition of driving on the following streets;
Brighton Place, Aberdeen, between its junction with Union Grove and the boundary between number 117 and 119 Brighton Place from 08:00 on 16th June, 2020, until 17:00 on 17th June, 2020. An alternative route is available via Union Grove, Ashley Road and Ashley Gardens; Gladstone Lane, Aberdeen, between its junction with Devonshire Road and the boundary between the rear of number 102 Devonshire Road and the rear of number 140-142 Forest Avenue from 08:00 on 23rd June, 2020, until 17:00 on 24th June. An alternative route is available via Devonshire Road, Forest Avenue and Gladstone Place.
There will also be a prohibition of waiting on either side on the following streets between 08:00 and 17:00 Mon-Sat; Ashley Lane, Brighton Place, Devonshire Road, Forest Avenue, Gladstone Lane, St Swithin Street, Union Grove, Union Grove Lane, Aberdeen from 08:00 on 10th June, 2020, until 17:00 on 21st July, 2020.
Due to any ongoing Covid-19 restrictions, the no-waiting restrictions will not be implemented for the full duration of the order and will only be implemented as and when required.
The no-waiting restrictions will be demarcated by the use of no-waiting cones for no more than 50 metres at a time. For an update as to when the no-waiting restrictions will be implemented please contact GCU (UK) Ltd on 07940333452
