Aberdeen City Council has made the above-named order in terms of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984
The effect of the order, which will operate from 08:00 on 16 March 2020, until 22:00 on 15 September 2020, is to impose a temporary prohibition of waiting on either side of Gort Road, Aberdeen, from the boundary between numbers 29 and 31 Gort Road to the boundary between numbers 35 and 37 Gort Road, and on the south west side of Gort Road, Aberdeen, from opposite the boundary between numbers 43 and 45 Gort Road to the existing double yellow lines approximately 10 metres in a southerly direction. Illegally parked vehicles will be removed at the owners expense. The measure is necessary to protect public safety during the movement of construction vehicles for a new development.
