Aberdeen City Council has made the above-named order in terms of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984

The effect of the order is to impose a temporary prohibition of driving on Claremont Street, Aberdeen, between its junction with Granton Place and the boundary between number 29 Claremont Street and 124 Great Western Road from 08:00 on 3rd April, 2020, until 17:00 on 6th April, 2020.
There will also be a prohibition of waiting on either side on the following streets between 08:00 and 17:00 Mon-Sat; Albyn Grove, Claremont Street, Granton Place, Union Grove, Aberdeen from 08:00 on 16th March, 2020, until 17:00 on 26th April, 2020.
Illegally parked vehicles will be removed at the owners expense. Access to properties will be maintained, but no through traffic will be possible.
The no-waiting restrictions will not be implemented for the full duration of the order and will only be implemented as and when required. The no-waiting restrictions will be demarcated by the use of no-waiting cones for no more than 100 metres at a time. Alternative Route: An alternative route is available via Great Western Road, Ashley Road, Union Grove and Granton Place.
