Aberdeen City Council has made the above-named order in terms of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984
The effect of the order, which will operate from 09:00 until 15:30 on 03 February 2020, is to impose a temporary prohibition of driving on Blacktop Road, Aberdeen, between Bishopdams Road and the city boundary at Mill of Brotherfield. Access to properties will be maintained, but no through traffic will be possible. The measure is necessary to protect public safety during works being carried out by Scottish Water. Alternative Route: An alternative route is available via Bishopdams Road, the B9119 Tarland Road and Easter Ord Road.
