Aberdeen City Council has made the above-named order in terms of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984

The effect of the order is to impose a temporary prohibition of driving on Braefoot Road, Aberdeen, between its junction with Ashgrove Road West and the boundary between number 2 Braefoot Road and number 12 Ashgrove Road West from 08:00 until 17:00 on 20th October, 2019 and from 08:00 until 17:00 on 26th October, 2019. An alternative route is available via Ashgrove Road West, Cornhill Terrace and Ash-Hill Drive, there will also be a prohibition of driving on Beechwood Avenue, Aberdeen, between its junction with Beechwood Road and the boundary between number 2 Beechwood Avenue and number 9 Beechwood Road from 08:00 until 17:00 on 5th November, 2019. An alternative route is available via Beechwood Road, Cornhill Terrace, Ashgrove Road West, and Forresterhill Road.
There will also be a prohibition of waiting on either side Beechwood Avenue, Aberdeen, between its junction with Beechwood Road and the boundary between number 2 Beechwood Avenue and number 9 Beechwood Road from 08:00 until 17:00 on 5th November, 2019.
Illegally parked vehicles will be removed at the owners expense. Access to properties will be maintained, but no through traffic will be possible.
The no-waiting restrictions will be demarcated by the use of no-waiting cones.
The measures are necessary to protect public safety during duct laying works being carried out by City Fibre.
