Aberdeen City Council has made the above-named order in terms of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984

Aberdeen City Council has made the above-named order in terms of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

The effect of the order is to impose a temporary prohibition of driving on the following streets;
Ash-Hill Drive, Aberdeen, between its junction with Braefoot Road and a point 15 metres in an easterly direction from 08:00 on 15th October, 2019, until 17:00 on 16th October, 2019. An alternative route is available via Ash-Hill Road and Cornhill Terrace; Hilton Avenue, Aberdeen, between its junction with Hilton Drive and the boundary between number 102 Hilton Drive and number 72 Hilton Avenue from 08:00 on 29th October, 2019, until 17:00 on 30th October, 2019. An alternative route is available via Hilton Drive, Rosehill Drive, Six Roads Roundabout, Hilton Street and Hilton Place; Elder Place, Aberdeen, between its junctions with Beattie Avenue and Beattie Place from 08:00 on 30th October, 2019, until 17:00 on 1st November, 2019. An alternative route is available via Beattie Avenue, Carnie Drive and Beattie Place. Access to properties will be maintained, but no through traffic will be possible.
There will also be a prohibition of waiting on either side on the following streets between 08:00 and 17:00 Mon-Sat;
Westburn Drive, Aberdeen, between its junctions with Grove Crescent Lane and Six Roads Roundabout from 08:00 on 12th October, 2019, until 17:00 on 22nd October, 2019; Cornhill Drive, Aberdeen, between its junctions with Forresterhill Road and Brierfield Road from 08:00 on 24th October, 2019, until 17:00 on 4th November, 2019; Oldcroft Place, Aberdeen, between its junctions with Forresterhill Road and Stockethill Crescent from 08:00 on 24th October, 2019, until 17:00 on 7th November, 2019; Stockethill Crescent, Aberdeen, between its junction with Stocket Grange and the car park entrance to 2-32 Castleton Park from 08:00 until 17:00 on 4th November, 2019; North Anderson Drive service road, Aberdeen, between its junctions with Forresterhill Road and Stockethill Lane from 08:00 on 5th November, 2019, until 17:00 on 12th November, 2019; Stockethill Way, Aberdeen, between its eastern junction with North Anderson Drive service road and the boundary between number 16 and 18 Stockethill Way and also on either side of Stockethill Way, Aberdeen, between its western junction with North Anderson Drive service road and the boundary between number 29 and 31 Stockethill Way from 08:00 on 7th November, 2019, until 17:00 on 19th November, 2019.
There will also be a prohibition of traverse on the following footpaths;
Between the front of numbers 49 to 59 Cornhill Gardens from 08:00 until 17:00 on 23rd October, 2019. An alternative route is available via Cairncry Road; Brierfield Terrace between the rear of number 7 Brierfield Terrace to the rear of number 1 Brierfield Road from 08:00 on 12th November, 2019, until 17:00 on 13th November, 2019. An alternative route is available via Brierfield Terrace, Brierfield Road and Cornhill Drive and also on the footpath between the front of numbers 15 to 25 Stockethill Way from 12th November, 2019, until 17:00 on 13th November, 2019. An alternative route is available via the footpaths at the front, side and rear of number 12 to 20 Stockethill Way.
Illegally parked vehicles will be removed at the owners expense.
The no-waiting restrictions will not be implemented for the full duration of the order and will only be implemented as and when required. The no-waiting restrictions will be demarcated by the use of no-waiting cones for no more than 100 metres at a time.
