Aberdeen City Council has made the above-named order in terms of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984
The effect of the order is to impose a temporary prohibition of driving on the following streets;
Danestone Terrace, Aberdeen, from its junction with Seaview Road to the boundary between number 52 and 54 Danestone Terrace from 08:00 on 21st October, 2019, until 17:00 on 22nd October, 2019. An alternative route is available via Danestone Place and Seaview Road; Denmore Gardens, Aberdeen, from the gable end of number 41 Denmore Gardens to the boundary between number 47 and 49 Denmore Gardens from 08:00 on 1st November, 2019, until 17:00 on 2nd November, 2019. An alternative route is available via Balgownie Road, Scotstown Road and Cairnfold Road; Danestone Place, Aberdeen, from the boundary between number 16 and 18 Danestone Place to the boundary between number 24 and 26 Danestone Place from 08:00 on 12th November, 2019, until 17:00 on 13th November, 2019. An alternative route is available via Danestone Terrace and Seaview Road; Scotstown Gardens, Aberdeen, between its junction with Seaview Road and the boundary between number 16 Seaview Road and 26 Scotstown Gardens from 08:00 on 19th November, 2019, until 17:00 on 20th November, 2019. An alternative route is available via Danestone Place and Seaview Road.
There will also be a prohibition of traverse on the footpath on Seaview Road, Aberdeen from the junction with Danestone Terrace to 71 Danestone Terrace from 08:00 on 23rd October, 2019, until 17:00 on 25th October, 2019. An alternative route is available via Simpson Road, North Donside Road, Fraserfield Gardens and Danestone Terrace and also on the footpath in front of numbers 37-43 Danestone Terrace, Aberdeen from 08:00 on 29th October, 2019, until 17:00 on 30th October, 2019. An alternative route is available via Danestone Terrace, Fraserfield Gardens, North Donside Road and Simpson Road and also on the footpath in front of numbers 1-11 Coull Gardens, Aberdeen from 08:00 on 13th November, 2019, until 17:00 on 17th November, 2019. An alternative route is available via the footpath at the rear of numbers 1-11 Coull Gardens.
There will also be a prohibition of waiting on either side on the following streets between 08:00 and 17:00 Mon-Sat; Auchlossan Court, Balgownie Road, Coull Gardens, Danestone Place, Danestone Terrace, Davan Park, Denmore Gardens, Fraserfield Gardens, Kinord Circle, Scotstown Gardens, Scotstown Road, Seaview Road, Strathbeg Place, Aberdeen from 08:00 on 21st October, 2019, until 17:00 on 1st December, 2019.
Illegally parked vehicles will be removed at the owners expense. Access to properties will be maintained, but no through traffic will be possible.
The no-waiting restrictions will not be implemented for the full duration of the order and will only be implemented as and when required. The no-waiting restrictions will be demarcated by the use of no-waiting cones for no more than 100 metres at a time.
