Aberdeen City Council has made the above-named order in terms of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984

The effect of the order, which will operate from 07:30 on 20 August, 2019, until 22:00 on 18 October, 2019, is to impose temporary restrictions as per the schedule below. The works will be carried out in phases, and advance warning signs will be placed on street seven days before each phase commences.

Phase 1 (from 20 August to approximately 29 August) Balnagask Circle will be closed between its junction with Girdleness Road and the access road between Morven Court and Brimmond Court. There will be a prohibition of waiting on the same stretch of road. There will also be a prohibition of waiting on Balnagask Circle between Balnagask Wynd and Pentland Place, and on the car park area south of Pentland Place.

Phase 2 (anticipated from 11 September to 17 September) Balnagask Road will be closed from the western boundary of number 435 Balnagask Road to the boundary between numbers 437-439 and 441-443 Balnagask Road. There will be a prohibition of waiting on the same stretch of road. There will also be a prohibition of waiting on Balnagask Circle between Balnagask Wynd and Pentland Place, and on the car park area south of Pentland Place.

Phase 3 (anticipated from 17 September to 27 September) Finnan Brae will be closed from its junction with Balnagask Road to Baxter Place. There will also be a prohibition of waiting on the same stretch of road.

Phase 4 (anticipated from 27 September to 3 October) North Balnagask Road will be closed between Baxter Place and the Golden Tee car park access. There will also be a prohibition of waiting on the same stretch of road.

The no-waiting restrictions will be demarcated by no-waiting cones as and when required, and Illegally parked vehicles will be removed at the owners expense. Access to properties will be maintained when possible. Alternative routes will be signed. The measures are necessary to protect public safety heating duct installation works for Aberdeen City Council.
