Aberdeen City Council has made the above-named order in terms of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984
The effect of the order is to impose a one-way restriction on Hilton Street, Aberdeen, between its junctions with Six Roads Roundabout and Clifton Road. The permitted direction of travel will be north east bound and also on Leslie Road, Aberdeen, between its junctions with Clifton Road and Kittybrewster Roundabout. The permitted direction of travel will be north east bound from 18:30 on 7th June, 2019, until 05:00 on 10th June, 2019 and also from 18:30 on 14th June, 2019, until 05:00 on 17th June, 2019. There will also be a temporary prohibition of driving on Primrosehill Drive, Aberdeen, between its junction with Leslie Road and the rear of number 67 Leslie Road from 08:00 on 24th June, 2019, until 17:00 on 25th June, 2019.
There will also be a prohibition of waiting on either side on the following streets between 08:00 and 17:00 Mon-Sat;
Burnett Place, Clifton Road, Great Northern Road, Hilton Place, Hilton Street, Leslie Road, Lilybank Place, Primrosehill Drive and Primrosehill Gardens, Aberdeen from 08:00 on 6th June, 2019, until 17:00 on 17th July, 2019.
Illegally parked vehicles will be removed at the owners expense. Access to properties will be maintained, but no through traffic will be possible.
The no-waiting restrictions will only be implemented as and when required, and will be demarcated by the use of no-waiting cones for no more than 100 metres at a time
The measures are necessary to protect public safety during duct laying works being carried out by City Fibre.

Alternative Route: An alternative route for south west bound vehicles is available via Great Northern Road, A90 North Anderson Drive, Hilton Drive, Rosehill Drive and Six Roads Roundabout. And an alternative route is available via Leslie Road, Clifton Road and Primrosehill Gardens.
