Aberdeen City Council has made the above-named order in terms of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984
The effect of the order, which will operate from 08:00 on 4th June, 2019, until 17:00 on 15th July, 2019, is to impose a temporary prohibition of waiting on either side on the following streets between 08:00 and 17:00 Mon-Sat; Anderson Avenue, Anderson Road, Hilton Drive, Middlefield Place, Smithfield Road, Western Road, Aberdeen.
Illegally parked vehicles will be removed at the owners expense.
The no-waiting restrictions will only be implemented as and when required and will be demarcated by the use of no-waiting cones for no more than 100 metres at a time.
The measures are necessary to protect public safety during duct laying works being carried out by City Fibre.
