Aberdeen City Council has made the above-named order in terms of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984
The effect of the order, which will operate from 07:30 on 1 April, 2019, until 06:00 on 8 April, 2019 and again 07:30 on 17 April, 2019, until 18:00 on 19 April, 2019, is to suspend the right turn manoeuvres from Union Street, Aberdeen on to Bon Accord Street, Aberdeen. The loading and unloading will be suspended on the same stretch of road.
From 07:30 on 17 April, 2019, until 18:00 on 19 April, 2019, the bus lane will be suspended on either side of Union Street, Aberdeen, between its junctions with Rose Street, and Chapel Street. The loading and unloading will be suspended on the same stretch of road. there will be a suspension of right turn manoeuvres from Union Street, Aberdeen on to Rose Street, Aberdeen.
The restrictions are in the interests of public safety during sewer repairs works by Scottish Water.

Alternative Route: An alternative route for the first period is via Union Street, Market Street, Guild Street and Bridge Street. For the second Period is Union Street, Alford Place, Albyn Place, Queens Cross Roundabout, Albyn Place, Alford Place, Union Street and Rose Street.
