Aberdeen City Council has made the above-named order in terms of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984

The effect of the order, which will operate from 07:30 on 1 May, 2019, until 06:00 on 2 May, 2019, is to suspend the waiting for any purpose on either side of Bedford Road, Aberdeen, between its junction with Powis Terrace and the south boundary of 8 Bedford Road. Illegally parked vehicles will be removed at the owners expense. From 19:30 on 1 May, 2019, until 06:00 on 2 May, 2019, there will also be a one-way restriction on Bedford Road, Aberdeen, between its junctions with Powis Terrace and the entrance to Kittybrewster Retail Park. The direction of flow will be northbound. During this time, the existing bus gate on Bedford Road will be suspended, in respect of southbound vehicles.

The restrictions are in the interests of public safety during repairs works by Scottish Water.

Alternative Route: An alternative route for southbound vehicles is available via Bedford Road, St Machar Drive, Great Northern Road and Powis Terrace.
