Aberdeen City Council has made the above-named order in terms of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984
The effect of the order is to impose a temporary prohibition of driving on Baxter Place, Aberdeen, between its junctions with Victoria Road and Baxter Street from 08:00 on 15th March, 2019, until 17:00 on 16th March, 2019. There will also be a temporary one-way restriction on St Fitticks Road, Aberdeen, between its junctions with Greyhope Road and Wood Street. The permitted direction of travel will be south-eastbound only from 08:00 on 27th March, 2019, until 17:00 on 1st April, 2019. There will also be a prohibition of waiting on either side on the following streets between 08:00 and 17:00 Mon-Sat;
Abbey Road, Baxter Place, Baxter Street, Greyhope Road, North Balnagask Road, Sinclair Road, St Fitticks Road, Victoria Road, Wood Street, Aberdeen from 08:00 on 4th March, 2019, until 17:00 on 14th April, 2019.
Access to properties will be maintained, but no through traffic will be possible.
The no-waiting restrictions will only be implemented as and when required, and will be demarcated by the use of no-waiting cones
The measures are necessary to protect public safety during duct laying works being carried out by City Fibre.

Alternative Route: An alternative route is available via North Balnagask Road, St Fitticks Road and Victoria Road. An alternative route for north-westbound vehicles is available via Victoria Road, South Esplanade East, Crombie Place, Sinclair Road and Greyhope Road.
