Aberdeen City Council has made the above-named order in terms of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984

The effect of the order is to impose a temporary prohibition of driving on the following streets;
1.Farquhar Road, Aberdeen, from the boundary between numbers 142-158 and 160-162 Farquhar Road to the boundary between numbers 181-183 and 185-187 Farquhar Road from 08:00 on 21st February, 2019, until 17:00 on 22nd February, 2019.
2.Lochnagar Road, Aberdeen, between the junctions with Burnbank Terrace and Girdleness Road from 08:00 on 25th February, 2019, until 17:00 on 2nd March, 2019
3.Burnbank Place, Aberdeen, between the gable end of number 4 Burnbank Place and the gable end of number 12 Burnbank Place from 08:00 on 4th March, 2019, 2019, until 17:00 on 6th March, 2019;
4.Farquhar Road, Aberdeen, between the junction with Balnagask Road to the boundary between numbers 227 and 229 Farquhar Road from 08:00 on 15th March, 2019, until 17:00 on 16th March, 2019
5. Farquhar Road, Aberdeen, between the junction with Farquhar Avenue to the gable end of number 126 Farquhar Road from 08:00 on 19th March, 2019, until 17:00 on 20th March, 2019.
6.Farquhar Avenue, Aberdeen, between the junction with Farquhar Brae to a point 15 metres from the junction with Balnagask Road from 08:00 on 22nd March, 2019, until 17:00 on 23rd March, 2019.
The One-way restriction Lochnagar Road, Aberdeen, between the junctions with Burnbank Terrace and Girdleness Road and also on Burnbank Terrace, Aberdeen, between the junctions with Lochnagar Road and Rockall Road will be suspended from 08:00 on 25th February, 2019, until 17:00 on 2nd March, 2019.
There will also be a prohibition of waiting on either side on the following streets between 08:00 and 17:00 Mon-Sat;
Balnagask Circle, Balnagask Road, Farquhar Avenue, Farquhar Road, Girdleness Road, Aberdeen from 08:00 on 18th February, 2019, until 17:00 on 31st March, 2019.
Illegally parked vehicles will be removed at the owners expense. Access to properties will be maintained, but no through traffic will be possible.
The no-waiting restrictions will only be implemented as and when required, and will be demarcated by the use of no-waiting cones for no more than 100 metres at a time
The measures are necessary to protect public safety during duct laying works being carried out by City Fibre.
