Aberdeen City Council has made the above-named order in terms of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984

The effect of the order is to impose a temporary prohibition of driving on Middlefield Place Aberdeen, between its junction with Middlefield Terrace and the boundary between number 73-79 and 81-87 Middlefield Place from 08:00 on 28th February, 2019, until 17:00 on 1st March, 2019. Access to properties will be maintained, but no through traffic will be possible.
There will also be a prohibition of traverse on the footpath from the boundary between number 50-56 and 58-64 Middlefield Crescent Aberdeen, to the boundary between number 74-80 and 82-88 Middlefield Place from 08:00 on 25th February, 2019, until 17:00 on 27th February, 2019.
There will also be a prohibition of waiting on either side on the following streets between 08:00 and 17:00 Mon-Sat;
Hilton Drive, Hilton Road, Middlefield Crescent, Middlefield Place, Middlefield Terrace, Middlefield Walk, North Anderson Drive service road, Rosehill Drive, Stewart Park Place, Aberdeen from 08:00 on 12th February, 2019, until 17:00 on 25th March, 2019.
Illegally parked vehicles will be removed at the owners expense.
The no-waiting restrictions will only be implemented as and when required, and will be demarcated by the use of no-waiting cones for no more than 100 metres at a time.
The measures are necessary to protect public safety during duct laying works being carried out by City Fibre.

Alternative Route: An alternative route for Middlefield Place is available via Middlefield Terrace, Hilton Road, and Hilton Drive. An alternative route for the footway closure is available via Hilton Drive.
