Aberdeen City Council has made the above-named order in terms of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984
The effect of the order, which will operate from 07:00 until 18:00 on 28th January, 2019, is to impose a temporary prohibition of waiting on the following streets;
Either side of Charleston Road North, Aberdeen, between its southern junction with Wellington Terrace and Wellington Road; Wellington Terrace, Aberdeen, between its northern junction with Charleston Road North and the western gable end of number 2 Wellington Terrace; Whitehills Lane South, Aberdeen, between its junction with Charleston Road North and the front of number 14 Whitehills Lane South; Wellington Green, Aberdeen, between its junction with Charleston Road North and the western gable end of number 1 Wellington Green; Whitehills Gardens, Aberdeen, between its junction with Charleston Road North and the rear of number 165 Charleston Road North; Charleston Park, Aberdeen, between its junction with Charleston Road North and the boundary between number 4 and 6 Charleston Park; Whitehills Place, Aberdeen, between its junction with Charleston Road North and a point 15 metres in a south easterly direction.
Illegally parked vehicles will be removed at the owners expense. The no-waiting restrictions will only demarcated by the use of no-waiting cones.
The measure is necessary to protect public safety during carriageway lining works.
