Aberdeen City Council has made the above-named order in terms of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984

The effect of the order, which will operate from 07:30 on 17 December, 2018, until 22:00 on 21 December, 2018, is to impose a temporary prohibition of driving on Contlaw Brae, Aberdeen, between its junctions with Braehead Terrace and Monearn Gardens. Access to properties will be maintained, but no through traffic will be possible. The restriction is necessary to protect public safety during gas mains refurbishment works by Scotland Gas Networks. Works should be completed in two days if no difficulties are encountered. Alternative Route: An alternative route is available via Colthill Circle, Colthill Road, Contlaw Road, and North Deeside Road.
