Aberdeen City Council has made the above-named order in terms of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984
The effect of the order, is to impose a temporary prohibition of driving on the following streets:
1 Kincorth Circle, Aberdeen, from the boundary between number 135-145 and 147-157 Kincorth Circle to the boundary between number 145-157 and 159-169 Kincorth Circle from 08:00 on 19th October, 2018, until 17:00 on 20th October, 2018. There will also be a prohibition of waiting on either side of the same stretch of road;
2. Tollohill Lane, Aberdeen, from the junction of Cairngorm Drive to a point 10 metres in a southerly direction from 08:00 on 21st October, 2018, until 06:00 on 22nd October, 2018. There will also be a prohibition of waiting on either side of the same stretch of road;
3. Kincorth Circle, Aberdeen, between its eastern junction with Margaret Clyne Court and the boundary between number 43 and 44 Margaret Clyne Court from 08:00 on 22nd October, 2018, until 17:00 on 23rd October, 2018. There will also be a prohibition of waiting on either side of the same stretch of road;
4. Provost Watt Drive, Aberdeen, between its junctions with Arbroath Way and Cairngorm Drive 08:00 on 21st October, 2018, until 06:00 on 22nd October, 2018. There will also be a prohibition of waiting on either side of the same stretch of road.
Access to properties will be maintained, but no through traffic will be possible.
There will be a prohibition of waiting on either side of the following roads;
Arbroath Way, Aberdeen, between its junctions with Provost Watt Drive and Tollohill Square; Tollohill Square, Aberdeen, between its junctions with Arbroath Way and Cairngorm Drive and Cairngorm Drive, Aberdeen, between its junctions with Provost Watt Drive and Tollohill Square 08:00 on 21st October, 2018, until 06:00 on 22nd October, 2018.
Illegally parked vehicles will be removed at the owners expense.
The no-waiting restrictions will only be demarcated by the use of no-waiting cones
The measures are necessary to protect public safety during duct laying works being carried out by City Fibre.
