Aberdeen City Council has made the above-named order in terms of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984
The effect of the order, which will operate from 05:30 on 25 September, 2018, until 22:00 on 28 September, 2018, is to impose a temporary prohibition of driving on the C89C Chapel of Stoneywood-Fairley Road, Aberdeen, between its junctions with Kingswood Drive and Fairley Road. The measures are necessary to protect public safety during carriageway resurfacing works. Alternative Route: An alternative route is available for southbound vehicles via Dykeside Roundabout, the A90 AWPR, and the A944 Skene Road, and for northbound vehicles via the A944 Skene Road, the A90 AWPR, the A96 Inverurie Road, the C886 Inverurie Road, Kepplehills Road, and Newhills Road.
