Aberdeen City Council has made the above-named order in terms of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984
The effect of the order is to impose a temporary prohibition of driving on Girdleness Road, Aberdeen, between its junction with Wellington Road and the access to Topps Tiles, from 19:00 until 22:00 on 21 June, 2018. There will also be a prohibition of waiting on either side of Old Church Road, Aberdeen, between its junctions with Balnagask Road and Girdleness Road, from 15:00 until 22:00 on 21 June, 2018. Illegally parked vehicles will be removed at the owners expense. The measures are necessary to protect public safety during works being carried out by SSE, and to allow buses to manoeuvre a diversion route.
Alternative Route: An alternative route is available via Old Church Road and Balnagask Road.
