Aberdeen City Council has made the above-named order in terms of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984

The effect of the order, which will operate from 07:30 on 28 May, 2018, until 05:00 on 29 May, 2018, is to impose a temporary prohibition of waiting on on the west side of King Street, Aberdeen, between its junction with Mealmarket Street and the south boundary of 187 King Street. From 18:00 on 28 May, 2018, until 05:00 on 29 May, 2018, no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to wait for any purpose, the east side of King Street, Aberdeen, between its junctions with Jasmine Terrace and Summerfield Terrace. The no-waiting restrictions will be demarcated by the use of no-waiting cones. Illegally parked vehicles will be removed at the owners expense. The measure is necessary to protect public safety during ironworks renewals by Scottish Water.
