Aberdeen City Council has made the above-named order in terms of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The effect of the order is to impose a temporary prohibition of driving on Contlaw Place, Aberdeen, from the boundary between numbers 19 and 21 Contlaw Place to the boundary between numbers 25 and 27 Contlaw Place, from 08:00 on 5 April, 2018, until 17:00 on 6 April, 2018. Access to properties will be maintained, but no through traffic will be possible. There will also be a prohibition of waiting on either side of Contlaw Place, Aberdeen, between its junction with Contlaw Brae and the boundary between numbers 19 and 21 Contlaw Place, between 08:00 and 17:00 daily, on 5 and 6 April, 2018. Illegally parked vehicles will be removed at the owners expense. The measures are necessary to protect public safety during crane works by British Telecom, and to allow access for the crane. An alternative route is available via Contlaw Road, North Deeside Road and Contlaw Brae.
