Aberdeen City Council has made the above-named order in terms of its powers under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The effect of the order, which will operate from 05:00 on 2 April, 2018, until 18:00 on 13 April, 2018, is to make Blackfriars Street, Aberdeen, and St. Andrew Street, Aberdeen, between its junctions with Blackfriars Street and Charlotte Street, one way. The direction of flow will be Southbound and westbound respectively. From 09:30 on 9 April, 2018, until 18:00 on 13 April, 2018, the bus lane on Charlotte Street, Aberdeen, between John Street and St Andrew Street, and the Motorcycle Only bay, will also be suspended during this period. The no-waiting restrictions will be demarcated by the use of no-waiting cones. Illegally parked vehicles will be removed at the owners expense. The restrictions are in the interests of public safety during installation works by Keir for SGN.
