Aberdeen City Council has made the above-named order in terms of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The effect of the order, which will operate from 09:00 on 5 March, 2018, until 20:00 on 9 March, 2018, is to impose a temporary one-way restriction on Craigton Road, Aberdeen, between its junctions with Great Western Road and Gordon Road. The permitted direction of travel will be westbound only. Also, there will be a prohibition of driving on Craigielea Avenue, Aberdeen, between its junction with Craigton Road and the boundary between numbers 37-49 and 51-63 Craigielea Avenue, and there will also be a prohibition of waiting on the same stretch of road. The measures are necessary to protect public safety during carriageway patching and kerbing works. An alternative route is available via Kenfield Crescent and Countesswells Road. An alternative route for both restrictions is available via Kenfield Crescent and Countesswells Road.
