Aberdeen City Council has made the above-named order in terms of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The effect of the order is to impose a temporary prohibition of driving on the U52C Stoneywood Road, Aberdeen, between the T junction 25 metres west of its junction with the A947 New Stoneywood Road and the north-western boundary of number 43 Stoneywood Road, between 21:00 in the evening and 05:00 the following morning, from 21:00 on 19 March, 2018, until 05:00 on 8 April, 2018. The measure is necessary to protect public safety during works being carried out by Network Rail. An alternative route is available via the A947 New Stoneywood Road, the A96 Inverurie Road and Greenburn Drive.
