Aberdeen City Council has made the above-named order in terms of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The effect of the order, which will operate from 24:00 on 12 February, 2018 until 18:00 on 13 August, 2018, is to impose a temporary prohibition of waiting for any purpose, including loading and unloading, on the east side of George Street, Aberdeen, between its junctions with Hutcheon Street and the north Boundary of 478 George Street. The measure is necessary to protect public safety during crane works for students flats construction.
