Aberdeen City Council has made the above-named order in terms of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

The effect of the order, which will operate from 05:30 on 19 February, 2018, until 22:00 on 08 September, 2018, is to impose a temporary 30mph speed restriction on the northbound carriageway of the A947 New Stoneywood Road, Aberdeen, between its junctions with the A96 Bucksburn Roundabout and Stoneywood Brae. The measure is necessary to protect public safety during the movement of construction vehicles for works associated with Network Rail.
