Aberdeen City Council has made the above-named order in terms of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The effect of the order, which will operate from 09:00 on 20 November, 2017, until 22:00 on 25 November, 2017, is to impose a temporary prohibition of driving on Countesswells Road, Aberdeen, between its junctions with Craigton Road and Countesswells Avenue. Access to properties will be maintained, but no through traffic will be possible. The measure is necessary to protect public safety during carriageway resurfacing works. An alternative route is available via Craigton Road and Springfield Road.
