Aberdeen City Council has made the above-named orders in terms of its powers under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 respectively. The effect this order, which will operate from 06:00 on 9 November, 2017, until 18:00 on 7 January, 2018 is to impose various restrictions within Aberdeen City Centre as part of the Winter Festival. There will be no waiting for any purpose on either side of Broad Street, Aberdeen, between its junctions with Upperkirkgate and Union Street. Also on either side of Flourmill Lane, Aberdeen, between its junctions with Upperkirkgate and Netherkirkgate and on either side of Netherkirkgate, Aberdeen, between its junctions with Carnegies Brae and St. Catherines Wynd and on the south-east side of Littlejohn Street, Aberdeen, between its junctions with Gallowgate and West North Street and finally the north west side of Queen Street, Aberdeen, from its junction with Broad Street north eastwards for a distance of 66 metres or thereby. During this time, there will be a temporary bus pick up and drop of point on the south east side of Queen Street, Aberdeen, from a point 112 metres or thereby, north east of its junction with Broad Street, for a distance of 21 metres or thereby, north eastwards. From 06:00 on 16 November, 2017, until 18:00 on 3 January, 2018, There will be a blue badge parking area on the north west side of Queen Street, Aberdeen, from a point 66 metres or thereby, north west of its junction with Broad Street, north eastwards for a distance of 31 metres or thereby. From 23:50 on 19 November, 2017, until 16:00 on 22 December, 2017 there will be no waiting for any purpose, except for buses, restriction which will be imposed on the west side of Charlotte Street, Aberdeen, between the hours of 08:00 and 16:00, Monday to Friday, from its junction with St Andrews Street, northwards, for a distance of 80 metres or thereby. From 23:50 on 19 November, 2017, until 23:50 on 7 January, 2018, a no waiting for any purpose restriction will be imposed on the roads as contained within Schedule One below:- Also at this time, there will be no waiting for any purpose on the south side of Skene Street, Aberdeen, between its junctions with Rosemount Viaduct and Woolmanhill Roundabout, except within the existing layby, northeast of its junction with Spa Street for the purpose of loading or unloading of buses.
