Aberdeen City Council has made the above-named order in terms of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The effect of the order, which will operate from 06:30 on 28 September, 2017, until 23:00 on 29 September, 2017, is to impose a temporary prohibition of driving on Pittodrie Street, Aberdeen, between its west junction with Pittodrie Lane to the east boundary of 9 Pittodrie Street. There will also be a suspension of waiting on either side of the same section of road. The measure is necessary to protect public safety during crane lifting operations by Robertson Construction. An alternative route is available via Ardarroch Road, Pittodrie Place, King Street and Pittodrie Street.
