Aberdeen City Council has made the above-named order in terms of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The effect of the order is to impose a one-way restriction on Crombie Road, Aberdeen, between its junctions with Crombie Place and Mansefield Road, from 08:00 until 22:00 on 30th September, 2017. The permitted direction of travel will be eastbound. An alternative route for westbound vehicles is available via Mansefield Road, Sinclair Road and Crombie Place. There will also be a prohibition of waiting on either side of Crombie Road, Aberdeen, between its junctions with Crombie Place and Mansefield Road from 08:00 until 22:00 on 30th September, 2017. There will be a temporary prohibition of driving on Mansefield Road, Aberdeen, between its junctions with Victoria Road and Crombie Road from 08:00 on 7th October, 2017, until 22:00 on 8th October, 2017. Illegally parked vehicles will be removed at the owners expense. Access to properties will be maintained, but no through traffic will be possible. The no-waiting restrictions will be demarcated by the use of no-waiting cones. The measures are necessary to protect public safety during duct laying works being carried out by City Fibre. An alternative route is available via Victoria Road, Mansefield Road, and Glenbervie Road.
