Aberdeen City Council has made the above-named order in terms of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The effect of the order, which will operate from 07:30 until 18:00 on 17 July, 2017, is to impose as suspension of waiting on either side of Forest Road, Aberdeen, between its junctions with Kings Gate and Desswood Place. Also from 07:30 until 18:00 on 18 July, 2017, is to impose as suspension of waiting on either side of Forest Road, Aberdeen, between its junctions with Desswood Place and Queens Road. These works will be phased and all the parking will not be suspended at one time The measure is necessary to protect public safety during sewer de-silting works.
