(A701 - NEWLANDS ACTIVITY CENTRE)
(TEMPORARY NO WAITING) ORDER 2017
The Scottish Borders Council have made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended. The Order, which has a maximum duration of 18 months, will come into force at 08:00 on 13 March 2017 and is expected to remain in effect until 17:00 on 31 March 2018. The Order is required in the interests of public safety in relation to events taking place in Newlands Activity Centre.
When the Order comes into effect no person shall permit any vehicle to wait or to be parked on the A701 from its junction with the B7059 at Romano Bridge to its junction with the C4 to West Linton, only at such times as appropriate traffic signs are displayed on the affected lengths of road.
