THE MIDLOTHIAN COUNCIL hereby order (1) in terms of Section 16A of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and (2) in terms of Section 62 of the Roads (Scotland) Act 1984 that in connection with the Penicuik Market the roads specified in Schedule 1 will be subject to the following on the dates and times shown (a) closed to vehicular traffic except for vehicles involved in the event, (b) no waiting, loading or unloading of vehicles except for vehicles involved in the event on the roads or parts thereof, (c) all of the parking will be suspended except for vehicles involved in the event on the roads or parts thereof and (d) the one-way system will be rescinded. Alternative routes for vehicular traffic are available by way of adjoining roads. Emergency vehicles attending an emergency call are exempt from this order.
