Temporary road restrictions: Barrland Drive, Giffnock
In order to facilitate carriageway resurfacing works on Barrland Drive, Giffnock a Temporary Restriction to Use of Road Order has been promoted. The Order will permit the closure of a section of Barrland Drive, Giffnock to vehicular traffic to ensure the safety of the general public and for those carrying out the works.
The closure of Barrland Drive, Giffnock will be in effect between its junction with Fenwick Road to St Clair Avenue, a distance of up to 270 metres.The closure will be in operation for up to 9 days from Monday 19th June 2017 until Tuesday 27th June 2017 or on completion of the works if sooner. Non-emergency vehicular access to roads within the closure will be permitted by the contractor on site only when it is possible to do so in conjunction with the works going on at the time. Pedestrian access will be unaffected.
