East Lothian Council intends to make an Order under Sections 82, 83 and 84 and Parts III and IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 to prohibit the driving of vehicles at a speed exceeding 20 miles per hour at any time on any of the lengths of road specified in Schedule 1 of this Order.

A copy of the Order together with a map showing the road affected and a statement of the Council’s reasons for making the Order may be examined from 24th April to 26th May 2017 during normal office hours at Main Reception, John Muir House Haddington and at East Linton Library during library opening hours, in addition they will also be available to view on the council’s website at www.eastlothian.gov.uk

Any person may, before expiry of the period noted above, object to the making of the Order.

Any objection must be in writing and must specify the grounds thereof and should be addressed to:
