On 23/05/17 the Council, in exercise of the powers conferred on them under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, and of all other enabling powers, made the above-named Order, which will make it unlawful for any person to travel on Stratholm Footbridge, between Irvine Road and Stratholm Terrace, Newmilns, (except persons engaged on the bridge works) by reason of works to be executed on or near the road.

 

The Order is in force from 00:01 hrs on 29/05/17 until 24:00 hrs on 21/06/17, or until the works are complete whichever is earlier and will be implemented only when appropriate signs are displayed. It is anticipated that the works will take three days to complete.

 

Alternative Route: Pedestrians should proceed via Stratholm Terr, Strath Cres, Stoneygate Rd, Brown St, Mure Pl Footbridge and Irvine Rd and vice versa.
