On 08/11/16 the Council, in exercise of the powers conferred on them under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, and of all other enabling powers, made the above-named Order, which will make it unlawful for any person to drive or cause or permit to be driven any vehicle on route U43 Highfield road, (from route B764 northwards to East Renfrewshire’s boundary a distance of 2424m), Fenwick (except Powertek Utilities vehicles engaged on the high voltage cable installation works), by reason of works to be executed on or near the road.

 

The Order is in force from 00:01 hrs on 14/11/16 until 24:00 hrs on 04/12/16, or until the works are completed whichever is earlier and the Order will be implemented only when appropriate signs are displayed.

 

Vehicular access for residents/owners/occupiers within the closurewill be permitted to and from their properties.

 

Pedestrian access will be maintained throughout the closure period.

 

Alternative Route: via U43, A77 and B764 and vice versa.
